Launched by the creators of Windscribe, Control D allows individuals and businesses to filter content, block ads and trackers, enforce security policies, and bypass geo-restrictions, all without the need for additional software or VPNs.
With a focus on flexibility, Control D offers multiple filtering options, custom rule creation, and a variety of pre-configured blocklists to suit different user needs. It supports multiple subscription tiers, from free basic filtering to advanced enterprise-level control. The platform is designed for seamless integration across devices and networks, ensuring a fast, secure, and personalized browsing experience.
By prioritizing user privacy and control, Control D empowers users to shape their internet access however they see fit, whether for productivity, security, or content customization.
Role
My work at Control D focused on the website and control panel, creating a visually engaging, intuitive, and user-friendly experience. I also designed a large library of icons to support a consistent and cohesive interface.
Role and Responsibility
I started working on Control D’s website and control panel design during its beta phase, collaborating with a design partner, developers, and stakeholders to refine its visual identity and user experience. My focus was on creating an intuitive and engaging interface by conducting user research, identifying pain points, and validating design decisions. Throughout the project, I iterated on feedback gathered from usability testing and stakeholder reviews, ensuring continuous improvement. I also played a key role in designing responsive UI layouts and interactive prototypes that enhanced both usability and engagement. By refining the overall aesthetic and functionality, I contributed to making Control D a more seamless and user-friendly platform for managing internet control.
